COVID-19 Refund Policy
Updated 23/03/2020 – At this stage, we are full steam ahead with the Far North Wilderness Bike Tour! This event is still over 6 whole months away at the time of writing and we are hopeful that an event like ours; outdoors in a remote area with less than 50 participants can continue. However, should this change, and the event is cancelled due to advice from the Australian or Qld Government, the following revised refund terms will apply:
- A full refund will be given if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19, or due to associated travel bans, you are unable to make it to Cairns. The decision to cancel the event will be in accordance with the advice from the Australian or Qld Government at that time.
- A full refund will not be given as a result of a change of mind or personal circumstances – our usual Refund Policy will apply in these cases (see below)
We understand that circumstances can change and you may need to withdraw from the Far North Wilderness Bike Tour. Should this be the case, formal notification will be required by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. When formal notification is received, a set withdrawal fee will be applied and the remainder of any monies paid by you refunded. Any donations/fundraising money received at time of withdrawal cannot be refunded. Processing of any refund may take up to 21 days.
Please note that from the 25th September (2 days before ride) NO refund will be applied.
